I am proud to announce that the official DPP TM website is not online, thanks to the efforts to some volunteers who wanted to put DPP TM on the map. Now, we are looking for any web administrators who are current residents on DPP TM to maintain and update this website from time to time.

Congrats UUM Men's Futsal Team!

Woke up early this morning and noticed a posting in TM Corner - UUM... and what a pleasant surprise!!!

Congrats to our TeaMstar resident, who also currently is the Ex-Officio for Sports... no wonder he has been busy lately. :-)

They have achieved Bronze (3rd place) in an international futsal tournament (ASEAN level), in Korat, Thailand, recently.

Just in case you did not know which one is our TeaMstar, I have placed a small arrow above him... why is it he is the most "happy-go-lucky" looking member of the group? ;-)

Congrats  Muhammad Syafiq b Che Halim @Hilmi and the TEAM... you have made DPP TM and UUM very very proud! :-D

Women: World Movers!

DPP TM Motivational Posters: The Series

And there I was, a little bored, a little stressed, and a little motivated to have some fun with some photos that were taken for the first two months appointed as the Principal for DPP TM, Universiti Utara Malaysia. As the title says, these photos were presented in the "motivational poster" format. Some of the words and quotes were taken from on-line sources, where the copyright was not clear. Therefore, this is my disclaimer for all materials that were collected on-line. The only copyright I claim is the pictures that were taken, mostly by myself and DPP TM students who attended those events.

Well... enough banter, here are the first two.

I am pleased to announce that DPP TM students will be organising help sessions (yes, another way of saying tuition session, but I didn't want to mention tuition... ooops!!) for students facing problems in understanding some tough subjects. DPP TM Grand Dinner: Black and Roses

I am pleased to announce that DPP TM, Universiti Utara Malaysia, will be holding their annual Grand Dinner, themed "Black and Rose". The promotional poster is as follows:

For any ex-DPP TM students, UUM Alumni, or any external parties that would like to join the event or contribute sponsorship for the event (cash, goods, services, ... all are welcome, we are not fussy... just drop me an email at faisal@uum.edu.my). In response to your comments... yes, it is going to be held at DEWAN MUADZAM SHAH, and not Dewan DPP MAS (I don't think we would all fit).

Also... the SIAKAO is a new species of fish that is particularly native to the lakes of Universiti Utara Malaysia... the one behind DPP MISC... apparently it is very nice and tastes very similar to SIAKAP... mehh.... hahahahaha ;-)

DPP PROTON “RUN IN THE DARK II AND GIVE BACK THE GREEN: EARTH HOUR”



UUM ONLINE: Pada 23/03/2013 JKPS DPP PROTON telah mengadakan satu program ‘Run In The Dark II dan Give Back The Green: Earth Hour” dibawah pengurusan Exco Sukan Dan Rekreasi dan Exco Kemudahan, Perkhidmatan dan Kebajikan.

Program ini di jalankan bagi untuk memberi kesedaran kepada warga Proton tetang keindahan waktu malam sekitar kampus dan pentingnya untuk menjaga alam sekitar tanpa mencemarkannya. Adalah amat penting dalam hidup kita, mengukuhkan lagi hubungan diantara pelajar dan pentadbiran, dan juga menggalakkan pelajar aktif dan memenuhi hari lapang mereka dengan aktiviti yang berfaedah.

Program ini bermula dengan pendaftaran pada pukul 7.45 pagi, dimana semua penghuni DPP PROTON akan turun dan berkumpul di Astaka untuk program Earth Hour.Program ini telah dirasmikan oleh pengetua DPP PROTON Dr. Mohammad Ghozali Bin Hassan. Selepas perasmian Earth Hour, tibalah pula masa untuk para peserta berlari dalam program Run In The Dark II.

Laluan yang dipilih untuk peserta lalui ialah laluan B. Program Run In The Dark II dipertandingkan dalam 2 kategori iaitu lelaki dan perempuan.Masing-masing 15 tempat kategori lelaki dan perempuan. Majlis tamat tepat pada pukul 10.30 malam. Tahniah kepada pemenang Run In The Dark II.
